I have a couple of shots on here…
Chaoz videoblog #3 from Eivind Aurstad on Vimeo.
I brought the Helmet cam up to the hill yesterday and took at couple of runs with it… Aleksander (Aurdal), Ole (Mustad) and Dennis (Hannesbo) tried out some runs aswell.
Unfortunately we screwed up the camera angle a bit so that you see too much body and too little of where we are actually going… Better luck next time I guess.
Park Lane POV test – long from HJ Brandt on Vimeo.
Today I learned sw rodeos - did them all day. I’m really stoked on the fact that I finally have a sw 5 that doesnt look like crap! Now I just need to get a couple solid grabs in there…
Just realized steffen posted an edit from yesterdays skiing even though I didnt want him to post my crappy – not grabbed – tricks… but oh well, here it is:
Today was the first day I started skiing somewhat decent, so I’m really looking forward to what will happen at breck and keystone from now on… hopefully I will even get some okay footage along the way!
For some reason my mac wont connect to the internet, so I’m gonna have a hard time posting every day if it doesnt get fixed…
Till tomorrow,
HJ
PS: I just got my GoPro camera – look out for some POV edits one of these days!
… has arrived!
Today I skied with 10 norwegians and 8 swedish guys – good times!
It was pretty much just us and the big PROs/X games guys who were hitting the big jump-line at Keystone… inspiring.
here is what went down at keystone today:
Most of us were just cruising around getting used to the jumps. They are pretty big and floaty so it takes some getting used to – for me atleast… Lars “Schnitzel OG Pomfri” Håkon didnt care though – he was throwing down fresh of the plane!
Simon Dumont were doing the same tricks we have seen him do a 1000 times before – I was even able to call his line before he dropped in, which was pretty funny.
Elias Ambuhl and Bobby Brown were throwing dubs all day.
Jossi was trying to learn dub 12´s tailgrab, not sure if he eventually landed it.
The shred-n-breakfast boys (Lasse and Kim) were doing their thing – filming each other and having fun.
Steffen my roomate for the next 3 weeks has arrived and is getting his blog on. check his blog for pictures (which are taken with my camera, haha).
Today, I first went up and skied the park at Breck.
The kickers…
and everything else…
in the park was perfectly shaped! In fact everything I skied for the first hour looked like this…
… I seriously get the chills when I sit on the chair on my way up for another run!
After a couple of hours at Breck I went over to Keystone to check the park out over there… And guess what, Keystones park is equally as awesome as brecks – wohoo!
See you tomorrow!

So… its friday, 5 days of work is behind me and only one more day is left until I can kick back and appreciate my one day long weekend. Awesome.
As you can probably imagine this week hasn´t had much to offer. however, I will say that I have finally pulled my ass together enough to go buy a new charger for my videocamera. I even brought the (fully charged) camera with me when I went to Drammen to jump trampolines, but I wasn´t feeling “it” that day, so I never got it out – I will next time though!
I spend a lot of time on the internet (just like everybody else?) and I believe that ones use of the internet obviously says a lot about ones interests, but I will go as far as to say that your use of the interweb says a lot about who you are.
So after this really mediocre week with not too much going on and absolutely nothing interesting personal things happening, I will share some links with you guys so you can get a better idea of what I´m all about, without getting too far into my head.
These are some of the sites I always check out – in no particular order:
http://hypebeast.com/ – “Attracting a vast and diverse readership from around the globe and boasting 9 million page views per month, Hypebeast is the premier destination for street culture information on the web.”
http://hypem.com/ – “Every day, thousands of people around the world write about music they love — and it all ends up here.”
http://www.karmaloop.com/ – “The world leader in streetwear culture and clothing.”
http://www.newschoolers.com/ – “The worlds biggest online community for Free Skiing enthuthiasts.”
http://riders.dk/ - “Like Newschoolers, but for the danes.”
http://theberrics.com/ – “Inside Steve Berra and Eric Kostons skatepark. We dont report the news, we are the news.”
http://www.computerarts.co.uk/ - “Tons of tutorials and stuff to learn.”
I often check out Art (fag) blogs and media bookmarking sites:

One last thing I want to share is this one site… When I saw this site I instantly knew I wanted to share it on the blog. I think this is one of those really good concepts which could potentially change the world..!

I never thought I would like the design of a label which creates medical products, but this is absolutely awesome!
Check out: Help I need help – and especially check the “bored?” section of the site.

I also went thru my vimeo subscription, which I never do, and I found some really cool stuff… I will share that tomorrow.
How about THAT for content sharing? DAMN!
Just so you know, I never wanted my blog to about “random cool stuff” because there are SOO many of those blogs out there, but its kinda hard not to share things from the internet when I spend so much time cruising around on here and check stuff out. (I love anything that looks cool!)… This is the post to compensate for all the times I wanted to post something “cool” on here that really doesnt have anything to do with me.
I cant wait till my season kicks in so I can start sharing my own activities and work on my ego, wohoo!
Have an awesome weekend.
